Have you met Oliver & Olivia?! And a contest!!!

One of the things I love most about Basic Grey products is their versatility. I love that I can use the products for subjects that are not necessarily what the product theme is. For example, in the layouts below I used the Oliver and Olivia collections - for travel pages. The colors in each collection worked well with the photos I wanted to scrap. With the wide variety of embellishments and coordinating products my pages came together in a snap... I love easy peasy!
In the layout "When the Clouds Dissipated" I used Oliver patterned papers, sticker elements, pieces, glazed brads, canvas tags, writer's blocks, take notes, buttons, clips, and micro mini letter stickers. Because everything is already coordinated for me this page came together very quickly. And even though this is a little boy themed collection it worked perfectly for my travel photos.

In these next two, single page layouts, I used the Olivia collection products. I used patterned paper, take notes, pieces, pops, writer's blocks, bloomers, micro mini letter stickers, elements stickers, and office tabs. The color palette of this collection complements my photos well, even though it is not a travel themed collection.

Now, for the contest... We would love to see your pages using Basic Grey products that do not fit the intended theme of the products. For example, Max and Whiskers is a wonderful pet themed product. Have you used Max and Whiskers for pages that are not pet themed? If so, we want to see them! Please leave a comment with a link to where your page is posted so that we can take a peek. One entry per person. We will draw a winner next Tuesday, August 24th. What will you win? A $25 gift certificate to the embellish IT! online store.
As always, we appreciate YOU, our wonderful customers! Thanks for stopping by the embellish IT! blog today! Good luck with the contest!
